Poverty is the ugly truth of our society but is still a fight which is worth fighting for. Poverty is something which with proper ways can allow a person to grow out. There are many people who have tried to bring in some of the most innovative ways to eradicate poverty. Dr Dennis Labayan, a Field Operations Director, has adopted few effective ways which will help in this fight with poverty.

Include the people with the issue in the fight

This one of the best ways to kick start the ways into eradicating poverty is to ensure that the community is actively trying to participate in the efforts. This means that the people affected should join hands and work to get themselves the right participation to help with the intervention to fight poverty. There are many people who are affected by the intervention to fight poverty. The formal leaders can be consulted to the help spread the word and allow the people to join in to become part of the process.

Create an organised group within the community

This is one of the more effective ways to ensure that you have the right access to the collection and organising the action. This helps one strengthen and empower the people in poverty, which will help one organise. This is not enough to help provide the right assistance to the individual, which can help with the collective organisation.

Affected people need to identify the issue

Any step taken is more effective when the person involved understands the issue. This is one way to help gain self-confidence and acquire capabilities which can solve simple problems. This means that the initial efforts and be taken towards addressing more complex issues and issues. All it takes is the people involved take steps towards their development.

People living in poverty can address their issues

Most people living in poverty do not understand that they have the right to raise their voice which helps them solve their issues. The people need to understand the process of fighting which needs to raise from the level of consciousness. People need to be aware of the situation they are in and also understand their own capabilities to help sustain and have collectively put the efforts in favour of their future issue.

It takes time

Poverty is something that cannot be dealt with in just one strike but requires a lot of fighting. The fighting is not that simple but has a deep personal transformation which needs to be followed by the people who are affected. It takes time to empower and facilitate the people affected and start working for their own development.

The post 5 Ways to Fight Poverty first appeared on One World Center - Be The Mentor You Wish You Had..

Climate migrants are people who are a group of individuals who move from one place to another during a storm, floods or droughts. They are not legally considered to be refugees. In this article, we are going to be learning about five facts about climate migrants.

They are not considered refugees from international refugee law.

A refugee is a term which has a lot of legal value which works for well-founded fear of being persecuted for a reason of race, religion, nationality, membership of a particular social group or a political opinion. These people who leave their country or region are doing so due to climatic conditions which may not be considered refugees as the one cannot recognise the environment as persecuting agent.

They are people who leave their home due to climate stressors.

Climate change, sudden rainfall, massive floods, sea-level rise can put a lot of pressure on people to leave their homes. These climatic changes make their homes uninhabitable where people will not be able to cultivate crops or raise any livestock because of the drought and flooding. This leaves them vulnerable and no choice but to move around in search of food, shelter and good climate.

They are vulnerable and have to migrate.

There are many countries with vulnerable geographies and fragile ecosystems which will allow one to face these situations. This more often than not occurs in poorest and more vulnerable countries which have the resources to leave their homes. The majority of environmentally induced migrants are likely to come across a rural area and form a livelihood. There is also a chance that the sea levels may be affected even with densely populated coastal areas.

No one knows how long it will exist.

There is no estimation one can do, which can help give people the accurate results for tomorrow. The reason for this is that it becomes challenging to manage migration and lack of official figures within the country. It is difficult trying to understand and untangle the reason for the migration, which can be caused by the lack of official figures. This makes it more difficult to establish a direct connection of the climate changes and its impacts. There has been a lot of movements which is directly related to the climate stressors within a country.

The climate migration is faced by people all around the world.

People are moving from one place to another due to climate changes. People in Bangladesh are moving away as the climate change threatens the stressors, which can help adapt the stressors by migrating. With the uncertainly of the future, there is a huge possibility that people all around the world will have to migrate due to the rapid changes that we are facing.

The post Five facts on climate migrants first appeared on One World Center - Be The Mentor You Wish You Had..

Volunteering programs abroad are some of the best ways to enrich and potential components which can allow one to have the right global awareness. It is important that people studying abroad have an understanding of the things they are going to be getting themselves in. The volunteers and people who are studying abroad do not have to detract by participating in the traditional study program. A typical program allows one an opportunity to do better and learn about your surrounding. There are a few benefits of working in volunteer programs abroad.

Connect with the locals

Adding a volunteer component to your study can help you prepare better for your lives which can help them have a deeper interconnected world. This is one of the best ways to develop a greater understanding of yourself which will allow one to live through volunteering. This provides a unique experience where you can help serve a local community which can help you understand and connect with them better.

Get out of your comfort zone

Even if you are in another country for a short amount of time, you need to make sure that you are filling your days with more than just classes and studying. Start by hanging out with your classmates which can help by broadening your comfort zone. Volunteering teachers can start by learning about the culture, bonds and gain new perspectives which can allow one to have a way of seeing meaning in meaningless activities.

Improve your chances of getting hired

When you are out on a field volunteering there is a lot of sincere and genuine conversations which can allow one to have the right staff members. You need to know that the conversations can lead to you getting job opportunities, abroad or home. This is one of the best chance which will get your resume standing out. You are also more likely to be impressed where one can pick up skills in a foreign language. This is one of the best ways to get a first-hand understanding of the things which occurs globally.

Work towards a cause you believe in

When you are in a new place, you will have access to learning which will help you find a cause you believe in. This will allow you to learn and identify the difference which can help people understand the needs. You can start by researching programs and organisations which can help one when studying. You can work from childcare to environmental work which will allow one to have the right service with a positive effect across the world. Depending on the subject you are studying try to choose your location carefully, which will help you have a broaden your horizons and make a difference some way.

The post Benefits of Study Abroad Volunteer Programs first appeared on One World Center - Be The Mentor You Wish You Had..

Absolute poverty is complete lack of means which can meet the necessary to meet the basic personal needs for food, clothing and shelter. The threshold of absolute poverty is defined always, which can allow one to get access to independent of the person’s permanent locations.

Pedagogy is the method of teaching concepts regarding academic subjects like the infamous Black Book for theoretical concepts. Learning a new concept can be tricky even by there are a few ways which can allow you to thing deep when it comes to learning a new concept. Here are a few standards that need to be when trying effective pedagogy.

Teacher and students producing together

Learning is one of the most effective when people are trying to work together in this case, teachers and students. A joint productive activity maximises the teaching and learning abilities which will allow one to grow together, which teaches the languages meaning and values. Teaching and learning through action is the characteristics of parents when they try to teach young children. Joint activity and disclosure allow for the highest level of academic achievements which can be done by monitoring and supporting students in positive ways.

Language development

Developing competency in language should be the goal of any educational activity which can be done throughout the day. The instructions are bilingual, and literacy is one of the most fundamental competencies for school success. School knowledge is important, which can develop the language.
